SPIE Wind Germany is seeking a Mechanical Technician (m/f/d) to maintain and service wind turbines in renewable energy projects. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and fault analysis to ensure optimal performance and energy production, with responsibility for detailed documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training in a mechanical field (e.g., Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Mechanic) or equivalent qualification.
• Initial experience as a Service Technician for wind turbines.
• SCC/VCA certification or GWO training is desirable.
• Crane operator’s licence and MEWP certification are desirable.
• Valid Class B driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and work at heights.
• Fluent communication in German or English.

Your Tasks:

• You perform maintenance on wind turbines and ensure their reliable operation and energy production.
• You carry out inspection and repair work on wind turbines.
• You carefully document your work activities to ensure full transparency and traceability.
• You perform fault analysis and troubleshooting on mechanical and hydraulic components.

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a Mechanical Technician m/f/d, Mechatronics Technician m/f/d, Industrial Mechanic m/f/d, or an equivalent qualification.
• Initial experience as a Service Technician m/f/d for wind turbines.
• SCC/VCA certification or GWO training is desirable.
• A crane operator’s licence and certification for operating mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) are desirable.
• Valid Class B driving licence.
• Ability to work at heights and willingness to travel.
• Team-oriented, committed, and motivated to contribute.
• You are confident communicating in German or English.
