Zusammenfassung

SPIE Wind Germany seeks an Electrical Technician m/f/d for the maintenance and servicing of wind turbines in the renewable energy sector. You will handle installation, commissioning, and fault diagnosis on onshore wind projects.

We value candidates with vocational training in electrical trades, willingness to travel, and ability to work at heights. GWO/SCC credentials are advantageous; English/German communication is required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training as an Electrician or Electronics Technician or equivalent.
• DGUV testing, energy storage systems and EV charging tech are a plus.
• Ability to work at heights and travel for projects.

Aufgaben

• Install and connect power cables in medium- and low-voltage systems.
• Install and connect electrical control cabinets.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Install, connect and commission obstruction lighting systems.
• Perform cable tests including VLF testing.
• Maintain wind turbines onshore: servicing, repairs, and component replacement.

Your Tasks:

• Installation and connection of power cables in medium- and low-voltage systems
• Installation and connection of electrical control cabinets
• Independent fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Installation, connection, and commissioning of obstruction lighting systems
• Carrying out VLF testing and other cable tests
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance, servicing, and repair of onshore wind turbines
• Replacement of major components of wind turbines

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training as an Electrician m/f/d, Electronics Technician m/f/d, or equivalent qualification
• Experience in DGUV testing, energy storage systems, and EV charging technology is an advantage
• Ability to work at heights and willingness to travel (depending on the project and rotation schedule)
• Valid Class B driving licence
• Team-oriented, committed, and motivated to contribute
• Good communication skills in English
• Valid GWO certificates are an advantage / nice to have
• Successfully completed vocational training as an Electrician m/f/d, Electronics Technician m/f/d, Mechatronics Technician m/f/d, or equivalent qualification
• Experience as a Wind Turbine Service Technician m/f/d is an advantage
• SCC/VCA certification or GWO training is desirable
• Valid Class B driving licence
• Ability to work at heights and willingness to travel (rotation schedule depends on the respective project)
• Team-oriented, committed, and motivated to contribute
• You are confident communicating in German or English.
