Mobis Parts Europe N.V. Zweigniederlassung Deutschland in Frankfurt am Main is seeking an experienced Powertrain Design Engineer to drive EDU and gearbox concepts for BEV/HEV platforms.

You will design EDU systems, motor/inverter interfaces, and cooling solutions while managing assembly drawings and supplier interfaces. The role requires 5+ years in powertrain design, CATIA V5 expertise, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering/Physics.
• 5+ years of experience in electric powertrain design (e-motor or transmission).
• Experience in reducer (or transmission) design.
• Experience in EDU (Motor/inverter interface) design.
• Catia V5 Intermidiate or higher skills required.
• English written and spoken language skills.
• Experience within an Asian company a plus.
• Strong self-management skills and high flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Team player and excellent analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• DesignEDU system (e-Powertrain system) for BEV, HEV.
• Design gearbox system for e-Powertrain (On-axis, off-axis, 2 speed gear shifting, park-lock, differential).
• Design motor cooling system with its sub component (Oil pump, filter, heat exchanger).
• Design motor/inverter interface (High voltage connection).
• Design gearbox lubrication system.
• CreateEDU assembly modeling and assembly drawings.
• Reviewassembly process of EDU and reducer system.
• Establisha relationship with EDU sub parts (housing, gear, shaft, etc.) suppliers.
• Developa new manufacturing process for EDU sub components (housing, reducer, gear, etc.).
• Identifyrequirements from customer RFQ and review design concept according to the requirement.
