The Heitkamp & Thumann Group seeks a dedicated Digital Transformation Specialist to drive AI-enabled modernization across its sites. You will connect central functions with site teams, establish processes, and measure progress while coordinating multiple initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a background in business or engineering with experience in industrial settings and fluent German and English. The role is based in Düsseldorf with a hybrid work model and travel to locations worldwide.

Formación

• A degree in business administration, industrial engineering, information systems or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in project or program management, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Business-fluent German and English.
• Experience coordinating multiple initiatives, translating direction into clear work packages and making progress visible to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of governance, demand management or software introduction.

Responsabilidades

• Translate strategic direction into deliverable initiatives and coordinate a portfolio of digital transformation activities across the H&T Group.
• Develop and run a clear operating model for digital transformation, including processes for digital requests, governance and software rollout.
• Set up and conduct structured assessments of digital maturity, track progress and prepare actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain digital learning and training formats with colleagues from central functions; coordinate communication and adoption measures.
• Help to improve H&T’s internal personal AI platform and support its effective use across locations.
• Work closely with sites and functions to align differing needs, facilitate workshops and keep implementation moving.

What you bring:

• A degree in business administration, industrial engineering, information systems or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in project or program management, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• A solid understanding of digitalisation and AI, combined with an interest in driving successful organizational change across multi-site operations; deep technical specialisation is not required.
• Experience coordinating multiple initiatives, translating direction into clear work packages and making progress visible to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of governance, demand management or software introduction, and the ability to facilitate discussions across different functions and locations.
• Business-fluent German and English.

Working at H&T

This is a full-time role based in Düsseldorf, with a hybrid working model in line with H&T Group policy. The position involves approximately 30–40% travel to H&T locations in Germany, Europe, the US and Asia, with greater travel during assessment periods. Occasional flexibility for international calls is part of the role.
