Job summary
Siemens Energy seeks a Digital Process & Agent Automation Engineer to drive the digital transformation at the Switchgears Berlin factory. You will build scalable automation using UiPath and Python, integrate APIs, and develop data pipelines and analytics dashboards to support operational decisions.
The role demands experience in software development, process automation, and data engineering within manufacturing, plus knowledge of AI, ML concepts, and Agile practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Professional experience in software development, process automation, or data engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in automation and software engineering, including Python, UiPath/RPA, API integration, software architecture, and code refactoring.
- Knowledge of AI and intelligent technologies, including AI agent frameworks, LLM integration, machine learning concepts, and cognitive automation.
- Experience in data management and analytics, including ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, database management, data visualization, and business intelligence.
- Expertise in requirements engineering, process optimization, and stakeholder management; relevant UiPath, Python, or Agile certifications are a plus.

Your focus will be on process automation using UiPath, Python, and APIs, as well as data integration, analytics, and AI agent technologies. You will translate complex manufacturing requirements into efficient digital processes and structured IT architectures.
As a Digital Process & Agent Automation Engineer, you will support the digital transformation of the Switchgears Berlin factory by developing scalable and sustainable digital solutions. Your focus will be on process automation using UiPath, Python, and APIs, as well as data integration, analytics, and AI agent technologies. You will translate complex manufacturing requirements into efficient digital processes and structured IT architectures.
- Design, development, and maintenance of robust automation solutions using UiPath, Python, and API-based integrations
- Implementation and integration of AI technologies and intelligent agent frameworks for advanced cognitive automation
- Refactoring and modularization of existing automation solutions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reduced individual dependencies
- Development of end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and analytics dashboards for seamless factory data integration and operational decision-making
- Analysis of factory workflows and operational requirements as well as identification of high-impact digital transformation opportunities
- Translation of operational requirements into scalable technical solutions and provision of technical guidance and training to factory stakeholders
