Siemens Energy is seeking a mechanical/production engineering leader to advance the digital manufacturing of wire-arc additive manufacturing for the Steam Turbine & Generator business.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and digitalization teams to design data and process chains, build scalable architectures, and integrate equipment and MES into a connected environment. The role emphasizes data analytics, dashboards, and partnerships with research institutions.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.

• Design and implementation of end-to-end digital data and process chains for wire-arc additive manufacturing across production and quality assurance.
• Development and continuous improvement of manufacturing data architectures, databases, and governance frameworks for secure, compliant, and scalable data management.
• Integration of production equipment, sensors, quality systems, MES, and enterprise applications into a connected manufacturing environment.
• Deployment and advancement of process monitoring, metrology, and digital quality assurance solutions to improve process stability and real-time visibility.
• Application of data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies to optimize manufacturing performance and product quality.
• Development of user-focused dashboards and reporting solutions, while building strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology partners to accelerate innovation and industrialization

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Extensive experience leading digitalization initiatives in manufacturing environments from concept development through industrial implementation
• Proven project management experience in software development and deployment of digital solutions for industrial production processes
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with research institutes, universities, technology providers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Demonstrated success in developing scalable, standardized solutions for deployment across multiple sites and global manufacturing networks
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business and manufacturing requirements into sustainable digital solutions, data strategies, and implementation roadmaps
