Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Digital Lead for additive manufacturing to advance wire-arc processes in the Steam Turbine & Generator business.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and digital teams to scale digital manufacturing capabilities and optimize data-driven decisions. You will drive end-to-end data chains, governance, and integration across sites, while deploying monitoring, dashboards, and automation to improve process stability and product

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Extensive experience leading digitalization initiatives in manufacturing environments from concept development through industrial implementation.
• Proven project management experience in software development and deployment of digital solutions for industrial production processes.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement end-to-end digital data and process chains for wire-arc additive manufacturing across production and quality assurance.
• Develop and improve manufacturing data architectures, databases, and governance for secure, scalable data management.
• Integrate production equipment, sensors, quality systems, MES and enterprise apps into a connected manufacturing environment.
• Deploy and advance process monitoring, metrology, and digital quality assurance for real-time visibility.
• Apply data analytics, AI/ML, and cloud tech to optimize manufacturing performance and product quality.
• Develop user-focused dashboards and reporting while partnering with research institutions and technology partners.

Your day combines collaboration with global stakeholders, research partners, and technology providers with focused work on digital manufacturing solutions, data architectures, and process integration. You analyze manufacturing data, support the deployment of monitoring and quality systems, and help translate operational needs into scalable digital capabilities. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design and implementation of end-to-end digital data and process chains for wire-arc additive manufacturing across production and quality assurance
• Development and continuous improvement of manufacturing data architectures, databases, and governance frameworks for secure, compliant, and scalable data management
• Integration of production equipment, sensors, quality systems, manufacturing execution systems, and enterprise applications into a connected manufacturing environment
• Deployment and advancement of process monitoring, metrology, and digital quality assurance solutions to improve process stability and real-time visibility
• Application of data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies to optimize manufacturing performance and product quality
• Development of user-focused dashboards and reporting solutions, while building strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology partners to accelerate innovation and industrialization

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Extensive experience leading digitalization initiatives in manufacturing environments from concept development through industrial implementation
• Proven project management experience in software development and deployment of digital solutions for industrial production processes
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with research institutes, universities, technology providers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Demonstrated success in developing scalable, standardized solutions for deployment across multiple sites and global manufacturing networks
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business and manufacturing requirements into sustainable digital solutions, data strategies, and implementation roadmaps
