Ghostnote

Ghostnote is a fast‑growing music startup based in Berlin. Since launching in February 2025 it is our mission to build the biggest label you’ve never heard of. At Ghostnote we are creating music brands and ambient experiences designed to help people study, sleep or just relax with our expertly curated playlists.

We mix startup energy with a deep love for music, creative design and building new communities. While we’re data‑driven and use tech to shape our ideas we always trust our creative vision. Our founding team has already scaled music brands to over 1 billion Spotify streams and our current team of 4 is channeling that experience into a fresh approach.

The Role

We’re seeking a Digital Content Editor to strengthen our creative and marketing team. You will be editing short‑form video ads for Meta platforms (Instagram & Facebook) that promote our music brands and releases and working closely with our Label & Operations team on artwork for new music. You’ll take ownership of creating social media content, turning templates and brand kits into polished posts and campaigns that capture our brand’s aesthetic.

This role is ideal for someone with strong editing skills, a creative eye for content and an excitement to use AI technology, and an eagerness to grow into a broader marketing and content strategy role as we scale.

Tasks
What You’ll Do
Video Editing & Ad Content
  • Edit and optimize short‑form ad creative for Instagram and Facebook (focus on engagement and performance) heavily leveraging AI tools
  • Adapt creative assets (music, visuals, typography) into compelling ad formats
  • Ensure all ads meet platform requirements and best practices
  • Test variations and iterate quickly based on performance data
Social Media Content Management
  • Create and schedule posts across social channels using templates and brand kits
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visuals and copy
  • Support in developing content calendars for our music brands
  • Monitor social media trends and suggest creative ideas to keep our content fresh and relevant
  • Assist with light copywriting for posts, captions and campaigns
Artwork Design For Our Label Operations
  • Collaborate closely with our Label & Operations team to shape the visual identity of our music brands
  • Create artworks for new releases, playlists and campaigns in alignment with our music and brand vision utilizing AI tools
  • Be an integral part of the label’s creative process translating music into visuals that connect with our audience
  • Help manage asset libraries and maintain structured content workflows
Requirements
  • 13 years of experience in video editing, content creation or social media management (internships and freelance work count)
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, After Effects or CapCut)
  • Strong sense of visual design and storytelling in short‑form content
  • Experience with different generative AI tools for video and image creation such as Midjourney, Sora, Grok, ChatGPT
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok content formats and trends
  • Organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proactive and independent but collaborative in a small team environment
  • Eagerness to learn about paid media marketing strategy and brand building
  • You’ll join us in our Berlin office 3 days each week to collaborate closely as a team
