Job summary

Zalando is seeking a Delivery Solutions Manager in Berlin to oversee delivery and returns flows, driving faster service while controlling costs. You will work with Linehaul, Customer Service, Warehousing and Tech to innovate and optimize customer experience and supply chain processes.

Requirements include a university degree or apprenticeship in Transport/Supply Chain, 3+ years in logistics, strong English, and hands-on data skills (Excel/GSheets, MicroStrategy).

Qualifications

• University degree or apprenticeship with a focus on Transport and/or Supply Chain.
• Logistics and relevant experience in a similar role within logistics, transport, carrier or service provider management, and e-commerce for minimum 3 years.
• Strong English communication and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery and return flows to customers and related performance.
• Improving customer satisfaction on deliveries and returns via KPI management.
• Designing and implementing best possible delivery and returns experience with new propositions and carrier products.
• Managing relationships with CEP service providers.
• Reporting and improving ongoing carrier performance.

This is an exciting time to join us as Delivery Solutions Manager (all genders) to keep shaping customer experience and increasing delivery speed while keeping costs within budget. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Managing the delivery and return flows to our customers and the related performance


• Improving customer satisfaction on deliveries and returns through the management of the related KPI


• Designing, planning, and implementing the best possible delivery and returns experience for our customers by implementing new service propositions and carrier/delivery products


• Managing the relationship with the external stakeholders – CEP Service Providers


• Reporting and improving the ongoing performance of the carriers

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

• You have a University Degree or apprenticeship with a focus on Transport and/or Supply Chain, You have logistics and previous relevant experience in a similar role within logistics, transport, carrier or service provider management, and e-commerce for a minimum 3 years.


• You have great communication skills in English, an additional EU language is a plus.


• Ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels to foster close collaboration.


• You bring a strong affinity to logic, you don’t shy away from self-learning, and have a passion for data.


• You are capable of providing fast and accurate information


• You have good Excel and/or GSheet Skills and first touch points with Microstrategy are key.
