Job summary

Zalando SE is seeking a Delivery Solutions Manager to optimize delivery and returns experiences for customers, while keeping costs in check. You will work with Linehaul, Customer Service, Warehousing, Tech and other teams to shape operational and strategic outcomes across Zalando's logistics network.

The role emphasizes improving customer satisfaction through KPI-driven improvements, designing carrier propositions, and managing external providers.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication and strong stakeholder management.
• Experience in logistics, transport, carrier or service provider management.
• Data-driven mindset with comfort in data analysis.

This is an exciting time to join us as Delivery Solutions Manager (all genders) to keep shaping customer experience and increasing delivery speed while keeping costs within budget. You’re part of a high-performing team, creating new and innovative ways to directly impact customer experience and Supply Chain processes. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Managing the delivery and return flows to our customers and the related performance


• Improving customer satisfaction on deliveries and returns through the management of the related KPI


• Designing, planning, and implementing the best possible delivery and returns experience for our customers by implementing new service propositions and carrier/delivery products


• Managing the relationship with the external stakeholders – CEP Service Providers


• Reporting and improving the ongoing performance of the carriers

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

• You have a University Degree or apprenticeship with a focus on Transport and/or Supply Chain, You have logistics and previous relevant experience in a similar role within logistics, transport, carrier or service provider management, and e-commerce for a minimum 3 years.


• You have great communication skills in English, an additional EU language is a plus.


• Ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels to foster close collaboration.


• You bring a strong affinity to logic, you don’t shy away from self-learning, and have a passion for data.


• You are capable of providing fast and accurate information


• You have good Excel and/or GSheet Skills and first touch points with Microstrategy are key.
