present of AI in Berlin is seeking an experienced deal desk leader to own the end-to-end process for SaaS deals, from intake and approvals to pricing rules and contract redlines at the order-form level. The ideal candidate has run a deal desk before, knows SaaS pricing, revenue recognition and ARR reporting, and has set up CPQ and Salesforce hands-on.
They will design automations and governance for AI-enabled workflows while collaborating with Legal, Finance and RevOps.
This role builds a deal desk from nothing, covering deal intake, approvals, pricing rules, and contract redlines at order-form level. A strong candidate has run a deal desk before, knows SaaS pricing, revenue recognition and ARR reporting, and has set up both a CPQ tool and Salesforce hands-on. Just as important is the ability to keep Sales moving fast while protecting margin, and to work well with Legal, Finance, and RevOps.
AI handles much of the routine here: sorting incoming requests, flagging which deal changes need a new approval, and suggesting fallback contract language from a library of past decisions. The human part is judgment on unusual deals, negotiating with customers, and deciding when a risk is worth taking. The person in this seat designs the automations and decides where they should stop and a person should step in.
The work involves building approval and quoting automations and a clause library that AI can draw on, so the hands-on AI experience is practical and tied to real revenue processes. Since the company sells a workflow automation platform, there is a natural chance to use the product itself on the team's own deal flow. Candidates can prepare by building a small approval or request-triage workflow in n8n and sharing a screenshot of it.
