Job summary

Rayner Surgical Group is seeking an Advanced Technology Specialist for the DACH North region in Germany to drive the premium IOL portfolio, including Galaxy launch, and lead the local premium sector with deep Rayner knowledge.

You will train the sales team, expand KOL networks, and coordinate with Marketing and Eye Sciences to promote clinical education and scientific promotions.

Qualifications

• Essential: Fluency in German and extensive KOL network in local ophthalmology.
• Experience selling premium IOLs into private healthcare environments.
• Education at degree level; valid driving license and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve sales targets for premium IOL portfolio including Galaxy launch.
• Lead the Premium sector with Rayner's knowledge of IOL technology.
• Support clinical expertise across private sector groups per local strategy.
• Provide regular market training to the local sales team.
• Develop network of KOLs and promote Rayner products with scientific education.

The Advanced Technology Specialist DACH North drives and achieves the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy.

In this exciting role in our DACH Sales team, you will lead the Premium sector here at Rayner in DACH, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Primary objective is to drive and achieve the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy
• Lead the Premium sector, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology
• Support and drive clinical expertise across the private sector groups in line with the local Strategy
• Keep updated with market developments, providing regular training to the local sales team
• Extensive travel across your region, with particular focus on concentrated areas of private IOL surgery
• Develop a network of KOLs across the region maintaining a strong program of scientific promotions
• Work closely with Marketing and Eye Sciences to increase podium presence, deliver high quality medical education, webinars, case studies and articles
• Work closely with the Country Manager, Marketing Manager, sales agents, and distributors
• Plan, coordinate and implement clinical evaluations to ensure clinical acceptance of Rayner product range and technology

What Experience & Skills You Will Need:

Essential:

• Transferable premium IOL market share
• Extensive KOL/ophthalmic surgeon network in local sector
• Experience within local ophthalmology sector
• Experience selling into the private healthcare environment
• Full driving license
• Fluency in German

Desirable:

• Educated to Degree level
• Business Proficiency in English
