Responsibilities include the setup and maintenance of firewall and network infrastructure solutions, as well as resolving complex network issues. For our long-standing business partner Airbus Secure Land Communications (CCG), we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (d/m/w) works as Customer Support Engineer for Firewall Administration.

Your Tasks

• Setup, installation and maintenance of firewall and network infrastructure solutions
• Ensure a high-performance and stable network infrastructure
• Analyze, classify and resolve complex network issues within incident management
• Manage change, release and configuration processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation within the area of responsibility

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as IT systems electronics technician or a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge in planning and administration of network and firewall infrastructures
• Strong experience in network technologies and TCP/IP
• Very good knowledge of IPsec
• Very good knowledge of switching and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Confident use of network troubleshooting and standard tools such as tcpdump or Wireshark
• Solid knowledge of digital switching technology, ideally with practical experience on DXT systems (Nokia)
• MS Office knowledge (detailed functional knowledge)
• Fluent German and English (negotiation level)
