Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG in Hamburg’s HafenCity is seeking a Corporate Controller (m/f/d) to lead monthly reporting and planning for the group. The position is full-time (38.5 h/week) at headquarters, requiring strong finance/controlling expertise and IFRS/HGB knowledge.

You will develop controlling tools, harmonize group reporting, and contribute to strategic acquisitions evaluations. English and German fluency, advanced Excel/PowerPoint, and SAP FI/CO experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Successfully completed business studies with a focus on finance/controlling and several years of relevant professional experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting regulations according to HGB and IFRS.
• Very good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; good SAP FI/CO knowledge; LucaNet/Jedox experience.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Distinct analytical understanding and a structured, independent work style.
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare the monthly reports for management.
• Develop controlling instruments and reporting tools; implement them in the system.
• Review and harmonize monthly/annual financial statements across subsidiaries; harmonize group-wide reporting.
• Prepare special analyses and drive project concept and implementation.
• Assist in evaluating strategic acquisitions and investments regarding recoverability.

Your new job includes

As Corporate Controller (m/f/d) you will be responsible for monthly reporting and planning for Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG and for the entire group of companies.

In particular, you will

• prepare the monthly reports in presentations for the management
• develop our controlling instruments and reporting tools and implement them in the system
• review and analyze the monthly and annual financial statements of the subsidiaries and ensuring harmonization of the group-wide reporting system
• prepare special analyses and be responsible for the conception and implementation of projects
• assist in the evaluation of strategic acquisitions and investments with regard to their recoverability

What you should bring along

• Successfully completed business studies with a focus on finance/controlling as well as several years of relevant professional experience in corporate or financial controlling
• Comprehensive knowledge of methods and experience with accounting regulations according to HGB and ideally IFRS
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint as well as good user knowledge of SAP FI/CO, ideally LucaNet, Jedox
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Distinct analytical understanding and desire for conceptual issues
• Pleasure in teamwork and a structured and independent way of working
