Job summary

Heinemann Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Hamburg to lead strategic, cross-functional People & Culture projects across the employee lifecycle.

You will work closely with People & Culture teams and business stakeholders to continuously improve key people processes and initiatives, contributing to the roadmap's successful execution.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities or comparable qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and cross-functional People & Culture projects, delivering on time, budget and scope.
• Drive initiatives across the employee lifecycle from concept to implementation and integration.
• Develop and implement new People & Culture processes and standards while improving existing solutions.
• Support company-wide transformation and change initiatives within People & Culture and ensure successful execution.
• Own projects from the roadmap, prioritizing, structuring and driving them forward with stakeholders.
• Develop content-rich concepts, business cases and decisions for strategic people topics for various audiences.
• Provide transparency on project progress, risks, dependencies and key decisions through reporting.
• Facilitate workshops, project teams and steering committees for effective collaboration across regions.
• Advance project management standards, methodologies and governance in People & Culture.

Your new job includes

As a Senior Project Manager People & Culture, you will lead strategic, cross-functional projects across the entire employee lifecycle. Working closely with People & Culture teams and business stakeholders, you will drive the continuous improvement of key people processes and strategic initiatives, making a significant contribution to the successful execution of our People & Culture roadmap.
In particular, you will

• lead strategic and cross-functional People & Culture projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
• drive initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle, from concept development through to successful implementation and sustainable integration into the organization
• develop and implement new People & Culture processes and standards while continuously enhancing existing solutions
• support company-wide transformation and change initiatives within the People & Culture environment and ensure their successful execution
• take ownership of projects and initiatives from the People & Culture roadmap, working closely with key stakeholders to prioritize, structure, and drive them forward
• develop content-rich concepts, business cases, and decision-making materials for strategic people topics, tailoring them to different target audiences
• provide transparency on project progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions through structured reporting and regular stakeholder communication
• facilitate workshops, project teams, and steering committees to enable effective collaboration across functions and regions
• further develop and professionalize project management standards, methodologies, and governance structures within the People & Culture function

What you should bring along

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in an international environment
• Proven ability to successfully manage strategic initiatives involving diverse stakeholders, competing priorities, and interdependencies
• Ideally, experience within the People & Culture / Human Resources environment
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different organizational levels
• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities combined with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach to execution
• A hands-on mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to independently drive topics forward and bring them to a successful conclusion
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
