Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Specialist to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize a wide range of automated control systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and building automation systems (BAS). This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of critical infrastructure, including HVAC, power, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on all control systems, including hardware, software, and networking components.
• Identify and resolve complex control system issues, alarm failures, and communication faults.
• Develop, modify, and optimize PLC, DCS, and BAS programming to improve system performance, efficiency, and functionality.
• Install and integrate new control systems and components, ensuring seamless operation with existing infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of system configurations, schematics, and all maintenance or repair activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards, including electrical safety procedures.

Desired Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's degree or certification from a technical program in automation, electronics, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial control systems, including programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), DCS, or BAS.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical circuits, instrumentation, and control theory. Proficiency in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
