Job summary

DPS (In House) is seeking a Construction Procurement Support professional in Germany. You will join a team that handles procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and quality throughout the process.

The role requires a 10+ year background in construction procurement, deep knowledge of German CSA/MEP procedures, and strong negotiation skills. After onboarding, part-time remote work is possible, with a competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as SCM, construction management, or business administration.
• +10 years experience in construction procurement or a similar role.
• Very good understanding of German procurement procedures for CSA, MEP.
• Connected to German regional construction market.
• After the onboarding period, part time remote is possible.
• German language (speaking, writing) is a must.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and procurement best practices.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review tender packages to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Evaluate offers and bids from suppliers and contractors, assessing their suitability and alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support decision-making in supplier selection and contract awards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities.
• Monitor supplier performance and adherence to contract terms.
• Support the negotiation and drafting of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and quality.
