Job summary

LSJ HR Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Berlin/Brandenburg. You will drive projects from tendering through closeout, including budgets, scheduling, and contract oversight.

Requirement: degree in Civil/Construction Engineering, proven bridge-construction experience, fluent German, and knowledge of VOB. On-site with up to 20 remote days/year; relocation support offered.

Do you have experience managing construction projects from start to finish and a solid understanding of bridge construction? Are you confident in managing budgets, schedules, and contracts, and can you communicate effectively in German? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

On behalf of our client, a company operating in the German construction market, we are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects throughout their entire lifecycle - from tendering and planning through to execution, financial settlement, and project closeout.

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in independently managing construction projects, including financial settlements and project closeout
• Experience in bridge construction, particularly projects involving steel structures
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and construction scheduling
• Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
• Practical experience with iTWO software
• German language proficiency sufficient for fluent professional communication - essential
• Valid category B driving licence
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of a project simultaneously
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions
• Excellent communication and team management skills
