Job summary

Exyte in Frankfurt is seeking a Construction Area Manager Mechanical (m/f/d) to take responsibility for the mechanical scope within a defined construction area of our high-tech projects in semiconductor and data center industries. You will lead and coordinate HVAC, piping, utilities, and building services, manage schedules, costs, and quality, and liaise with clients and engineering teams on site.

The role requires a Master Craftsman/Technician or relevant degree, several years of site

Qualifications

• Technical qualification as Master Craftsman or Technician or degree in Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or comparable technical qualification
• Several years of site supervision or construction management experience in mechanical disciplines within complex large-scale projects
• Experience in industrial or plant construction, ideally within semiconductor or data center industry
• Strong knowledge in HVAC, piping, utilities, process utilities, or building services with team leadership experience
• Very good German and English skills (B2) and willingness to travel to project sites in the D-A-CH region

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for execution of mechanical works within a defined construction area
• Management and coordination of construction activities, particularly in HVAC, piping, utilities, and building services
• Leadership and coordination of the project team and subcontractors and interface with clients and engineering teams
• Planning and monitoring of schedules, costs, quality, and construction progress, including risk identification
• Ensuring compliance with EHS and quality standards, site inspections, acceptance activities, and defect management

• Management and coordination of construction activities, particularly in HVAC, piping, utilities, and building services
• Leadership and coordination of the project team and subcontractors as well as acting as a key interface with clients, engineering teams, and other disciplines
• Planning and monitoring of schedules, costs, quality, and construction progress, including early identification of risks and deviations
• Ensuring compliance with EHS and quality standards, including site inspections, acceptance activities, and defect management

Show Your Expertise

• Technical qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician or a degree in Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in site supervision or construction management of mechanical disciplines within complex large-scale projects
• Experience in industrial or plant construction, ideally within the semiconductor or data center industry
• Strong technical knowledge in areas such as HVAC, piping, utilities, process utilities, or building services, combined with experience in leading teams and subcontractors
• Very good German and English skills, at least B2 level, as well as willingness to travel and work on project sites within the D-A-CH region
