MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. Zweigniederlassung Deutschland Frankfurt am Main is seeking a student intern to support data science and ML projects. You will develop data pipelines, prepare datasets for deep learning, and help manage experiments.

Work will involve both frontend/backend collaboration and ML workflow automation with modern tooling. This internship offers practical experience in automotive tech and international teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in CS/DS/engineering or related field.
• Strong Python skills and experience with data-processing libraries (NumX, pandas).
• Experience in ML/DL with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Data visualization skills with Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and command-line tools.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and ML workflows.
• Exposure to cloud, containers, or CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience with AI agents (Claude, GPT, Copilot) is a plus.
• Structured, independent work style with strong analytical skills and good English.

Your profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Good programming skills in Python and experience with common data-processing libraries such as NumX and pandas.
• Experience of machine learning and deep learning concepts and tools, such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of frontend and backend development, APIs, databases, data processing, and machine learning workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, command-line tools, and remote compute environments.
• Exposure to experiment tracking, containers, cloud platforms, or CI/CD workflows is a plus.
• Experience in using AI agent tools, e.g., Claude, GPT and Copilot.
• Structured, independent working style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, high flexibility, and good English language skills.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain scripts for data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and quality checks.
• Support the preparation and management of datasets for deep learning experiments.
• Set up, launch, monitor, and troubleshoot deep learning training and evaluation jobs.
• Track experiments, model configurations, metrics, and generated artifacts.
• Analyse model performance and create clear visualizations and evaluation reports.
• Support the development and integration of frontend and backend components for machine learning applications.
• Improve the reproducibility and automation of machine learning workflows.
• Document processes, tools, and experiment results for the development team.
