Alpine Eagle is shaping the future of counter-drone defence with a focus on radar signal processing, embedded software, and AI-enabled drone systems. We are seeking engineers with deep expertise in radar processing and hands-on deployment for real-time platforms.

The role emphasizes close collaboration across hardware and software teams, with a strong emphasis on performance, documentation, and ownership of complex signal-processing pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. PhD is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in Radar Signal Processing (radar data & object tracking).
• Experience in embedded SW development (ARM/Neon, CUDA).
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Solid Python skills.
• Proven experience with ROS2.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize and benchmark radar processing algorithms for drone-based applications.
• Implement and optimize target platform algorithms for runtime and memory footprint.
• Integrate computer vision models with drone systems in collaboration with hardware teams.
• Stay updated on radar tech and signal processing advancements for aerial and ground-based systems.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain thorough documentation.

How you will make an impact:

• Design,OptimizeandBenchmarkAlgorithms:Radar processingalgorithms for drone-based applications such asraw signal processingand real-timeobjecttracking.

• Implement andOptimize Target Platform: Implement selected algorithms for the target platform and optimize them for runtime and memory footprint.

• Integration with Hardware: Partner with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of computer vision models with drone systems.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in radar technology and signal processing for aerial and ground-based applications.

• Code Reviews and Documentation:Participatein code reviews,maintainthorough documentation, and contribute to team discussions.

What you need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ora relatedfield.PhDisa plus.

• Strong background in Radar Signal Processing (signal processing of radar raw data, radar object tracking) with 7+ years of experience.

• Experience in embedded SW development (ARM / Neon, Cuda)
