Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking a commercially focused project controls professional to manage budgets, forecasts and cost reporting. You will collaborate with project delivery, procurement and finance teams throughout the investment and execution phases.

This role requires a degree in finance-related fields and several years of project-controlling experience, with strong Excel skills and experience in ERP/financial systems.

• Strong knowledge of cost forecasting, capital expenditure and change control.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering or related.

Aufgaben

• Provide commercial analysis and reporting to project and senior management.
• Track commitments, expenditure and forecast costs against the approved budget.
• Review supplier invoices and support internal approval processes.
• Evaluate the financial impact of project changes, variations and additional works.
• Work with procurement and delivery teams to maintain accurate cost information.
• Prepare budget updates, variance explanations and forward-looking forecasts.
• Support commercial reviews of contracts, amendments and supplier agreements.
• Produce financial information for investment approvals and management decisions.

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a commercially focused project controls professional to manage budgets, forecasts and cost reporting. You will work closely with project delivery, procurement and finance teams throughout the investment and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial analysis and reporting to project and senior management.


• Track commitments, expenditure and forecast costs against the approved budget.
