persona service AG & Co. KG is seeking a skilled CNC milling technician in Alsfeld, Germany. You will operate and set up milling machines with Heidenhain controls, reading drawings to ensure precise production.

The role emphasizes quality, cleanliness, and routine maintenance. Required are an apprenticeship in machining or related field, experience in CNC milling, and German language at least B1 with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls and set up for each job.
• Mill components to drawings and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure correct production steps and dimensions.
• Set up machines, clamp workpieces and tools, adjust machining parameters.
• Check parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality with standard measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean workstation and perform routine machine maintenance.

Job description

Job responsibilities

• You will operate CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls and set them up for each specific job
• Working to drawings and technical specifications, you will mill components to the required quality
• You will read and interpret technical drawings to ensure that production steps and dimensions are implemented correctly
• You will set up the machines, clamp workpieces and tools in place, and adjust the machining parameters
• You check the manufactured parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality using standard measuring equipment
• You keep your workstation clean and carry out routine care and maintenance of the machine
• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have already gained experience in CNC milling
• You are confident in using the Heidenhain control system
• Reading and implementing technical drawings comes naturally to you
• Your profile includes spoken German (at least B1 level) and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work a two-shift system
• You work independently, meticulously and with a focus on quality
• You are a team player and reliable
