Job summary

Koob Testsystems GmbH is seeking a skilled CNC programming specialist to program and simulate 3- and 5-axis center operations. You will select tooling, define cutting parameters, and convert programs to machine formats using post-processors.

You will verify code via virtual-machine simulation, generate tool lists, and assist operators when running new programs, optimizing for repeat parts.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with programming experience for metal trades.
• Experience in CNC milling and Heidenhain control programming.
• Familiarity with CAM systems and post-processors.

Program and simulate CNC machining programs for our 3- and 5-axis centers.

Your responsibilities

• Creating and simulating machining programs in CAM, selecting optimal tooling, and defining the most efficient cutting parameters
• Converting CNC programs into machine-specific format using post-processors
• Verifying programs via simulation on a virtual machine at the programming station
• Generating complete tool lists for tool presetting and tool measurement
• Supporting machine operators when running in new programs and optimizing programs for repeat parts

What you bring

• Degree as Dipl.-Ing. / Master's in Mechanical Engineering, or Techniker/Meister (metal trades) with programming experience
• Experience in CNC milling
