Job summary

Herrmann Ultraschall in Karlsbad sucht eine/n Clerical Customs and External Trade Clerk (m/w/d) in Vollzeit zur Bearbeitung von Zollanmeldungen, Exportdokumenten und Abwicklung von Versandformalitäten.

Sie arbeiten eng mit internen Abteilungen sowie externen Dienstleistern zusammen, pflegen Stammdaten in ERP/Abas-Systemen und unterstützen Kunden bei Zoll- und Exportanfragen und sorgen für termingerechte Abwicklung.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder gleichwertige Qualifikation im Logistikbereich.
• Berufserfahrung in Zollabwicklung (Import/Export) von Vorteil.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Bearbeitung von Zoll- und Außenhandelsvorgängen und Abwicklung von Formalitäten.
• Vorbereitung und Bearbeitung von Zollanmeldungen sowie Versanddokumenten.
• Kommunikation mit Zollbehörden und Koordination mit internen Stakeholdern und externen Dienstleistern.
• Pflege von Stammdaten in ERP-Systemen (abas) und Exportüberwachung.
• Unterstützung bei Kundenanfragen rund um Zoll- und Exportprozesse.

Your Mission

Preparation and processing of internal and external customs-related transactions and formalities

Preparation and processing of customs declarations, shipping documents, and supporting documentation (e.g., A.TR., Certificate of Origin, Export Accompanying Document)

Communication with customs authorities and coordination between internal stakeholders and external service provider

Handling of exceptional cases and ensuring timely, solution-oriented follow-up

Maintenance and administration of data in customs and ERP systems, including export monitoring

Support for customer inquiries related to customs and export order processing

Your Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, ideally in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
• Professional experience in customs processing (import and export)
• Enthusiasm for managing operational shipping and customs processes
• Experience with PPS/ERP systems, preferably abas, as well as MS Office applications
• Strong customer and service orientation aligned with our company culture
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and a quick grasp of new concepts
• Hands-on mentality and proactive approach to work
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
