Role
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) leads our sales efforts as we enter the next phase of growth. This executive role reports directly to the CEO and requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales, marketing, and business development within the payments industry. The CCO provides strategic vision, leadership, and direction to develop and execute a successful sales strategy, with a strong focus on market expansion and increasing Wallee Group's market share. The role includes oversight of sales leaders, development of top-tier sales teams, driving partnerships, and executing growth strategies to meet company objectives.

- Collaborate with product, technology, and operations teams to align marketing strategies with product development and innovation. Ensure the marketing and sales efforts reflect the full range of Wallee's technical capabilities and meet market demands.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Drive customer acquisition strategies through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and marketing programs. Develop a framework for increasing customer retention, fostering loyalty, and maximizing customer lifetime value through customized engagement strategies.
- Revenue & Market Share Growth
- Design and execute strategies to achieve consistent market share growth in key markets. Work with analytics teams to interpret market data, understand competitive dynamics, and identify new revenue opportunities. Focus on accelerating time-to-market with a scalable approach to entering new markets.
- Digital Sales Channels & E-commerce
- Develop and optimize digital sales channels to drive lead generation and conversions. Leverage SEO, SEM, social media, and digital advertising strategies to build brand awareness, increase inbound leads, and grow digital sales.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Oversee lead generation strategies through traditional and digital channels, ensuring a continuous flow of qualified leads. Create automated lead nurturing programs that drive conversions and implement CRM tools to track, measure, and optimize lead performance.
- Sales Team Development & Coaching
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales organization. Implement training, tools, and processes to enable field sales teams to meet aggressive targets. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development.
- Partnerships & Ecosystem Expansion
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with industry players, including payment processors, financial institutions, and technology providers. Leverage relationships to expand Wallee's ecosystem and enhance competitive edge.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Implement robust performance tracking using data analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives. Regularly report to the executive team and board, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance and profitability.
- Global Market Expansion
- Spearhead expansion into international markets by analyzing market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes. Develop localized marketing and sales approaches for diverse geographical regions.
- International Sales Organization & Channel Strategy
- Build a high-performing international sales organization. Define and implement a go-to-market structure optimized for each region. Expansion will rely primarily on indirect sales channels (local partners, agents, or vertical-specific resellers) to ensure scalability, local relevance, and cost-efficiency. Design a partner management framework to onboard and enable partners in alignment with Wallee's value proposition and growth objectives.

- Oversee sales budgets, ensure resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust resources to meet growth targets.
- Innovation & Digital Transformation
- Stay at the forefront of digital marketing and sales innovation, incorporating AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to optimize engagement and sales processes. Drive adoption of digital tools to streamline operations.

- Implement a customer-first approach that understands the needs and behaviours of Wallee's diverse customer base. Use insights to refine sales strategies and ensure offerings solve real-world pain points.
What You Bring

Additional Information
