25hours Hotels in Düsseldorf invites a dedicated breakfast chef to join our open-kitchen team. You will welcome guests from early morning, prepare egg dishes and hot breakfast à la minute, and maintain spotless hygiene while keeping the buffet fresh.

This full-time role offers a 4-day workweek with full pay, a lively team, and benefits including employee room nights, staff discounts, transport subsidy, and flexible scheduling to balance your life.

Qualifications

• You have completed professional training as a chef and have gained initial hospitality experience.
• You are eager to learn, patient during breakfast rush, and passionate about breakfast preparation.
• You communicate in German and work reliably in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• You take care of our guests from early birds to morning guests.
• You prepare your shift and ensure the area is clean and tidy afterwards.
• You work independently and stay calm when the breakfast rush starts.
• You work close to guests in the open kitchen and prepare egg dishes and other hot breakfast items à la minute.
• You ensure breakfast is a real culinary treat and maintain high hygiene standards.
• You monitor the breakfast buffet to keep it fresh, stocked, and attractively presented.

What does your working day look like ...

• You take care of our guests – from early birds to morning grumps.
• You prepare your shift and make sure everything is clean and tidy afterwards.
• You work independently and keep a cool head even when breakfast gets really busy.
• You work close to our guests in our open kitchen and prepare egg dishes as well as other hot breakfast dishes fresh and à la minute.
• You make sure that breakfast is a real culinary treat for our guests.
• You pay attention to cleanliness and ensure that our hygiene standards are followed.
• You always keep an eye on the breakfast buffet and make sure everything is fresh, fully stocked and attractively presented.

Qualifications

• You enjoy being up before everyone else and have everything under control from early in the morning.
• You have completed professional training as a chef and have gained some initial experience in a hotel, restaurant or other hospitality environment.
• You are eager to learn something new and stay patient when everyone hits the breakfast buffet at the same time.
• You are passionate about good food and enjoy preparing the most important meal of the day.
• You bring not only your skills, but also your personality.
• You work reliably and independently and keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
• You have a good command of German, ensuring smooth communication with your team and our guests.
