Wieland Electric GmbH in Bamberg seeks a Certification Specialist (m/f/d) Codes & Standards to join its global team. You will participate in national and international standards committees and lead multiple certification projects with agencies such as VDE, UL and CSA.

You will interpret requirements for product management and development, assist customers in applying local installation rules, and travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training (e.g. electrical engineer, electronics technician, industrial mechanic) with relevant further training, or a degree in a technical subject.
• Experience with interpreting international standards and working with certification agencies is an asset.
• Very good product knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in both English and German.
• Results-oriented, highly organized and a team player.
• Willingness to undertake both domestic and international business travel.

Aufgaben

• Active participation in national and international standards committees
• Lead and manage multiple certification projects with external agencies (e.g. VDE, UL, CSA, etc.) to maintain and enhance our portfolio of product approvals
• Interpret and define applicable requirements for product management and product development teams
• Assist customers / end users to understand and apply the local installation rules correctly to best support Wieland’s products
