Wieland Electric in Bamberg, Germany, seeks a Certification Specialist (m/f/d) Codes & Standards to join the Bamberg site at the earliest date. You will lead certification projects with external agencies (VDE, UL, CSA) to maintain and expand product approvals.

Requirements include completed electrical engineering or electronics training or a technical degree, plus experience interpreting international standards. Fluent English and German are essential, and travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training (e.g. electrical engineer, electronics technician, industrial mechanic) with relevant further training, or a degree in a technical subject.
• Experience with interpreting international standards and working with certification agencies is an asset.
• Very good product knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in both English and German.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage multiple certification projects with external agencies (e.g. VDE, UL, CSA) to maintain and enhance product approvals.
• Interpret and define applicable requirements for product management and product development teams.
• Assist customers/end users to understand and apply local installation rules correctly to support Wieland’s products.
• Active participation in national and international standards committees.
