Tintschl Technik GmbH is seeking a Cabin Version Engineer (A350 IFEC) in Hamburg to drive customer-specific modifications, digitalization, and automation for the A350 aircraft. You will bridge cutting-edge tech with airlines, handling IFEC and connectivity systems in an international environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering, 2+ years in engineering/project management, strong MS Excel, Google Workspace, and German/English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage, create, and review system definition documentation for IFEC and connectivity systems.

• Manage components according to airline requirements throughout the Fulfill Customer Order process.
• Drive digitalization, process development, and automation of connectivity systems.
• Oversee small-scale projects to optimize workflows and manage engineering service providers.
• Participate in system development projects and ITCMs with airlines and suppliers.

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Cabin Version Engineer (A350 IFEC)(d/m/w) in Hamburg to drive customer-specific modifications, digitalization, and automation for the A350 aircraft.

In this role, you will be the bridge between cutting-edge technology and world-class airlines, managing In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems within an international and dynamic environment.

Contract: Full-time, Temporary until October 2027 (with potential extension)

The main tasks and responsibilities:

• System Definition & Engineering: Manage, create, and review system definition documentation for IFEC and connectivity systems. Develop production test instructions and create electrical schematics.
• Customer Customization: Manage components according to specific airline requirements throughout the Fulfill Customer Order (FCO) process.
• Digital Transformation: Drive digitalization, process development, and automation of connectivity systems. Support the implementation of new working methods and tools within the Customizing team.
• Project & Vendor Management: Oversee small-scale projects aimed at optimizing workflows. Manage and monitor engineering service providers tasked with defining IFEC systems.
• Global Collaboration: Participate in system development projects, definition meetings, and Initial Technical Coordination Meetings (ITCMs) with global airlines and suppliers.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Core Experience:
• 2+ years in Engineering
• 2+ years in Project Management / Technical Project Management
• 2+ years in Process Improvement
• 1+ year in Change Management
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace. At least basic practical experience with PDMLink (or similar PDM validation tools).
• Languages: German (Professional/Negotiation-ready) and English (Proficient) are both required.
• Soft Skills: An independent, structured, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly analyze complex technical relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have:

• Experience in digitalization processes and data management.
• Prior experience in customization engineering within the aerospace sector.
