Job summary

VistaJet GmbH (Hamburg office) seeks a Business Travel Consultant to support internal travel with a global team. You will liaise across departments, handling crew travel, hotel, flight and car bookings, and related documentation on a 6:30am–11pm travel-support schedule.

You will join a 7-days-a-week travel team, with early and late shifts; the role requires English proficiency, some German, and IATA knowledge, using Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport and travel tech tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English; German skills are a plus.
• Diploma as Travel Consultant with focus on business travel or equivalent.
• Commitment to outstanding service for flight crews and colleagues.
• Able to think outside the box with a CAN DO attitude under pressure and with high attention to detail.
• In-depth IATA knowledge and use of major CRS such as Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills; team player.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends.
• Knowledge of Cytric, Concur, Atriis and Umbrella is an advantage.

As an aviation company, we are looking for a Business Travel Consultant (w/m/d) to support our internal business travel department at our Hamburg office.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Travel Consultant, you will liaise with all other VistaJet departments, to support and offer all our internal customers an enhanced experience with the best travel solutions.

You will join a dynamic global Travel Team that provides support seven days a week from 06:30am to 11pm.

In this role you will work a shift pattern including both early and late shifts.

Shift pattern timings will be agreed between you and your manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Finding optimal and creative solutions to support Crew Scheduling travel requests for our Flight Crews on duty
• Processing hotel bookings for our Flight Crews
• Processing flight, hotel and rental car bookings for training and corporate travel
• Processing all the related documentation
• Tickets Issuance and Refunds

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory, German speaking skills desirable.
• A successful completed Diploma as a Travel Consultant (f/m/d) with a focus on business travel or equivalent
• You’re committed to provide excellent levels of service to our flight crews and colleagues
• You’re able to think 'out of the box', have a “CAN DO” attitude to problem solving and able to work under pressure and with a great attention to detail
• In-depth IATA knowledge including the use of a Central Reservation System such as:
• Sabre
• Amadeus
• Travelport
• Good organisational and coordination skills with the ability to work as a part the team
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Basic knowledge of travel tech tools such as Cytric, Concur, Atriis and Umbrella would be an advantage
