Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Supervisor for the Catering Department to lead a team, deliver excellent customer service, and meet operational goals across sites. You will guide, train, and support staff, encourage upselling, manage stock and displays, and ensure hygiene and organisation standards at all times.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and organisational skills with a proactive approach to staff development.

Qualifikationen

  • Previous catering experience at a supervisory level.
  • Industrial catering experience is preferred.
  • Health and safety knowledge is basic.
  • Knowledge of cash handling and till systems.
  • Basic data inputting manually or via computer/tablet.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across sites and at other times.
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate required.
  • NVQ 3 in catering or equivalent.

Flexibility is essential as you may need to work across different sites or during peak times, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility is essential as, The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions. The successful candidate must be prepared to study for the level 3 food hygiene certificate and NVQ 3., you may need to work across different sites or during peak times, including weekends and holidays. You will also participate in staff training and development, fostering a positive team environment. This role requires strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.,

  • Previous catering experience at a supervisory level
  • Previous Industrial Catering experience, A general understanding of why food hygiene is important
