The maintenance of a high standard of service, meeting the agreed specification. The job holders role demands excellent time management skills. The jobholder is expected to identify areas where the service could be improved and determine ways in which this could be done. The job requires good planning and organisational skills. The job holder is required to be flexible in his/her approach. Some independent action is required in the absence of the Site Services Manager/Contract Manager but at other times close liaison with the Site Services Manager/Contract Manager is required. The jobholder should ensure that he/she understands all functions and roles of others relevant to his/her own. The jobholder must present a professional image at all times.Main duties of the job Ensure that required signatures are obtained for bleeps, radios and other equipment. Maintain equipment, e.g. bleeps, radios, etc. and stores in good order. Contact Portering Manager in the event of problems with equipment or if stores or equipment are required. Check site vehicles as specified by Portering Manager/ Assistant Manager. Complete any vehicle inspection list daily., Ensure that required signatures are obtained for bleeps, radios and other equipment. Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £26.50 (standard disclosure) or £54.50 (enhanced disclosure) will be deducted from salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement of employment.
