USAG Ansbach - MWR, Auto Skills Center, Urlas Kaserne, is seeking qualified applicants for an automotive skilled position. The role requires demonstrated automotive repair knowledge, the ability to maintain and repair complex mechanical systems, and the experience level to match the next lower grade.

This position is located at USAG Ansbach - MWR, Auto Skills Center, Urlas Kaserne.

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

1. Demonstrated work experience that include the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work of the position to be filled.
2. Possess specialized knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, to include repair and maintenance.
3. Work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

1. Possess or have you ever possessed an Automotive Certification (ex. Military maintenance or ASE or NAPA Tech and/or equivalent German certs).
2. Possess experience managing hazardous materials and environmental compliance in an industrial or shop setting.
3. Possess prior NAF/MWR experience and knowledge of military community recreation programs -OR- Possess a minimum of one (1) year of management experience specifically related to automotive shop, a self-service garage, or a military Auto Skills Center
