DataGuard is looking for an Associate Privacy Consultant to take ownership of an established customer base and help clients turn GDPR requirements into practical, scalable privacy practices. You’ll operate at the intersection of privacy, SaaS and AI-enabled consulting, advising hands-on while raising the bar in a high-ownership environment.

You’ll join a fast-growing security and compliance tech company with global offices and thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in privacy consulting, customer advisory, audits or handling privacy related customer requests.
• Strong GDPR and privacy knowledge, ideally with a legal/business law background.
• Ability to turn complex privacy requirements into simple, structured recommendations.
• Curiosity to AI tools and automation, with good judgment to review AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• You advise and support your own customer base on data protection, combining privacy expertise with smart use of our AI-powered platform, with focus on retention and value.
• Translate GDPR and privacy topics into clear, pragmatic guidance for confident business decisions.
• Help customers use DataGuard as their central privacy hub and drive platform adoption and monthly active usage.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully in privacy workflows and review AI-generated outputs critically.
• Collaborate with privacy, automation and product stakeholders to share customer insights and improve scalable consulting workflows.

• You advise and support your own customer base on data protection, combining privacy expertise with smart use of our AI-powered platform., having a strong focus on retention, customer health and long-term value creation.

• You translate complex GDPR and privacy topics into clear, pragmatic guidance that helps customers make confident business decisions.

• You help customers use DataGuard as their central privacy hub and actively drive platform adoption, engagement and monthly active usage.

• You use AI tools thoughtfully in privacy related workflows and critically review AI generated outputs based on your subject matter expertise.

• You collaborate with privacy, automation and product stakeholders to share customer insights and contribute to more scalable, tech enabled consulting workflows.

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD

• 2+ years of relevant experience in privacy consulting, customer advisory, audits or handling privacy related customer requests.

• Strong GDPR and privacy knowledge, ideally combined with a legal, business law or comparable privacy focused background.

• Ability to turn complex privacy requirements into simple, structured and customer-friendly recommendations.

• Ability to improve efficiency in a dynamic customer environment, spot opportunities to create more value, and stay focused even when priorities shift.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, ownership and the ability to connect the dots between customer needs, platform usage and business impact.

• Curiosity to AI tools and automation, paired with the judgment to review AI generated privacy content critically.

• Native level fluency in German, strong professional English skills
