Job summary

Ai Futures in Munich is seeking an AI Transformation Lead to scale a new operational unit within a Pan-European private equity team. You will own the AI agenda for a portfolio vertical, driving AI maturity with portfolio leadership and aligning initiatives to value creation plans.

You will work with CEOs, CTOs and CFOs to craft prioritized roadmaps, lead cross-functional AI programmes, and influence governance, data readiness and EU AI Act compliance across investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology or AI transformation, from consulting, a PE operating team or a senior role in a software company.
• Track record of delivering enterprise AI or automation programmes with clear business impact.
• Strong practical knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows and automation in B2B settings.
• Commercial mindset, linking AI initiatives to revenue, margin and valuation.
• Credibility and influence with C-level executives and boards.
• Solid understanding of B2B software and SaaS business models.
• Structured and hands-on, able to set strategy and deliver it.
• Willing to travel across DACH and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Advise on AI governance, data readiness and compliance, including the EU AI Act.

AI Futures are partnered on the Search for an AI Transformation Lead at a Pan-European Private Equity team scaling a new unit in Munich. They are known for backing B2B software and technology companies with capital, operational expertise and a long-term view, helping them become European category leaders.

AI is now a core part of their value creation approach, and we are hiring a leader to drive it across the portfolio. You will own a segment of the Funds assets, and drive operational excellence and innovative AI transformation topics, alongside the rest of this new operational team.
