Job summary

Parts Europe GmbH is seeking an Accounts Receivables Clerk (m/f/d) in Germany to manage receivables, post payments, and reconcile accounts. You will monitor delinquencies, handle inquiries, and support monthly and year-end closings while contributing to accounting process improvements.

You should have completed a business apprenticeship in accounting, with experience in AR and strong MS Office skills; ERP familiarity is a plus. English proficiency is required for our international environment.

Qualifications

• For and accounting apprenticeship completed, ideally focusing on accounting or bookkeeping.
• Professional experience in accounts receivable or a comparable position.
• Strong numerical skills and financial accounting know-how; MS Office proficient; ERP experience a plus.
• Careful, organized, and independent; service-oriented with customers and internal teams.
• Good written and spoken English; German language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable and ensure accurate, timely recording of transactions.
• Verify and post incoming payments and reconcile accounts receivable.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, perform dunning, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments with internal teams.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closings and with analyses and reports.
• Contribute to optimization and development of accounting processes.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• As an Accounts Receivables Clerk (m/f/d), you will handle accounts receivable and ensure that all business transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

• In addition, you will verify and post incoming payments and reconcile accounts receivable.

• You will monitor outstanding receivables, handle the dunning process, and assist in resolving payment discrepancies.

• In addition, you will also handle customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment transactions, working closely with internal departments.

• You will assist with monthly and year-end closing tasks as well as with the preparation of analyses and reports.

• Furthermore, you will contribute to the optimization and further development of our accounting processes.

You bring along:

• You have successfully completed a business apprenticeship, ideally with a focus on accounting or bookkepping.

• You have professional experience in accounts receivable or a comparable position.

• In addition, you have a soft spot for numbers and financial accounting and are proficient with MS Office; experience with an ERP system is a plus

• You work carefully, in an organized manner and independently; your service-oriented approach helps you collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.

• For the cooperation in our international environmemtn , a good command of written and spoken English is needed.Knowledge of German is a plus.
