Job summary

Parts Europe GmbH in Germany seeks a junior controller to prepare monthly and annual financial statements and analyses. You will monitor key figures, support budget planning, forecasts, and cost centre controlling, and help develop controlling tools in coordination with departments.

Ideal candidates have economics training with controlling focus, analytical mindset, and strong MS Office skills. German language proficiency and good English are required; hybrid work and onboarding support are

Qualifications

• Successfully completed economics studies with a focus on controlling or equivalent training.
• Three years of professional experience in a similar position ideally.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, a sense of responsibility, and strong numeracy.
• Team-oriented and able to present results clearly to non-specialists.
• Very good German and a good level of English are required.
• Very good MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• As a junior controller, prepare monthly and annual financial statements and analyses.
• Prepare, monitor and report key figures and ad hoc analyses for divisions.
• Contribute to budget planning, forecasts, and cost centre/ cost unit controlling.
• Develop business management IT tools and controlling procedures; handle project tasks.
• Support balance sheet accounting if required.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• As a junior controller, you prepare the monthly and annual financial statements as well as the corresponding analyses.
• In addition, you handle the preparation, monitoring and reporting of key figures and ad hoc analyses for various corporate divisions.
• Your tasks include budget planning,preparing forecasts and annual financial statements as well as the implementation of cost unit and cost centre controlling in coordination with the specialist departments.
• You will be responsible for the further development of business management IT tools and controlling procedures, as well as corresponding project tasks.
• In addition, you support us in balance sheet accounting, if required.

You bring along:

• You have successfully completed your studies in economics with a focus on controlling or a corresponding further training as a controller.
• In addition, you ideally already have three years of professional experience in a similar position, although this is not a must for us.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility and a good understanding of numbers are among your strengths.
• You also enjoy working in a team, can present your work results clearly and comprehensibly, even to people from outside the field, and have very good self-management skills.
• A very good command of written and spoken German and a sufficient level ofEnglish are needed in this role.
• Very good Microsoft Office skills round off your profile.
