Job summary

Techtronic Industries ELC GmbH in Winnenden seeks an Accounting Finance Manager (m/f/d) to lead the local accounting team and manage day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

You will coordinate monthly and annual closes, ensure IFRS and German GAAP compliance, and drive robust financial reporting. The role requires strong SAP S/4HANA experience and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally in an international or matrix organisation.
• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a comparable qualification; a recognised accounting qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP, with practical experience in monthly closing, statutory accounts, reconciliations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of accounting operations and lead the local accounting team.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes with IFRS and German GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany accounting and balance sheet substantiation.
• Prepare balance sheet, cash flow and FX reporting for EMEA Finance and local management.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements preparation and consolidation.
• Ensure compliance with finance policies and governance standards.
• Lead external and internal audits coordination and evidence provision.
• Act as a SAP S/4HANA process expert across FI/MM/CO.

Accounting Finance Manager (m/f/d)

Your role:

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of accounting operations across the company and lead, coach and develop the local accounting team
• Manage and coordinate the operational monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the head of Financial Accounting in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP
• Oversee the general ledger and sub-ledgers, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, intercompany accounting and balance sheet substantiation
• Prepare key balance sheet, cash flow and foreign exchange reporting for EMEA Finance and local management
• Support and coordinate the operational preparation of statutory financial statements as well as consolidation and management reporting requirements
• Execute and monitor accounting controls within the established governance framework and ensure compliance with finance policies and documentation standards
• Manage the day-to-day coordination of external and internal audits, including evidence provision, issue tracking and follow-up of agreed actions
• Act as a key finance process expert for SAP S/4HANA, particularly across FI/MM/CO and integrated accounting processes
• Support project initiatives such as the implementation of digital accounting solutions, e-invoicing and scalable close management practices
• Maintain process documentation, control narratives and work instructions in accordance with applicable standards and the governance framework

Your profile:

• Extensive professional experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally gained in an international or matrix organisation
• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a comparable qualification; a recognised accounting qualification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP, with practical experience in monthly closing, statutory accounts, reconciliations, accounting controls and audits
• Previous experience in leading, supervising or coordinating an accounting team
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably SAP S/4HANA with experience in FI/MM/CO; understanding of integrated MM and reporting processes is an advantage
• Advanced competence in Microsoft 365, especially MS Excel
• Good command of German and English
