Job summary

Standard Profil Group is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Specialist to support the German parent company with HGB statutory statements, IFRS reporting, and overall accounting tasks. You will collaborate with international teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes process automation, cross-border finance projects, and maintaining rigorous accounting controls within an international environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Bilanzbuchhalter/CPA or similar professional qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in auditing or accounting in an international environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new topics; structured, proactive work style.
• Good command of English; Turkish language skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly HGB statutory financial statements for the German parent (GmbH).
• Manage full accounting activities for the GmbH.
• Oversee financial administration and document management.
• Prepare the GmbH's IFRS reporting package.

As our Accounting & Reporting Specialist, you will play an important role in the accounting and financial reporting of our German parent company while working closely with colleagues and partners across our international organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of the monthly HGB statutory financial statements for the German parent company (GmbH)
• Responsibility for the full accounting activities of the GmbH
• Financial administration and document management
• Preparation of the GmbH's IFRS reporting package
• Collaboration with and support of our subsidiaries worldwide
• Coordination and communication with external auditors
• Participation in group-wide finance projects
• Continuous improvement and automation of accounting and reporting processes
• Coordination and management of external advisors

What You Bring:

• A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable field
• Ideally, an additional qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (Certified Accountant), CPA, or similar professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Solid accounting and financial reporting expertise
• Ideally, around 4–5 years of professional experience in auditing and/or accounting within an international corporate environment
• Ability and willingness to quickly and independently familiarize yourself with new and complex topics
• An independent, accurate, and structured way of working
• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers and processes
• Strong communication skills and confidence working in an international and multicultural environment
• A proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
• A hands-on mentality and the ability to remain effective in challenging situations
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Knowledge of German corporate tax law is an advantage
• Good command of English
• Turkish language skills are desirable
• Additional foreign-language skills are an advantage
