Our client is a fast-growing Berlin-based scale-up in leadership development. Its platform combines one-to-one coaching with certified human coaches and AI-powered support, helping large organisations develop their leaders and talent every day, not just once a year.
Hundreds of leading international enterprises already work with them, and demand is strong. Now the company is strengthening its new business team, and is looking for a hands-on leader to take it to the next level.
The role
This is a player-coach role. You'll lead a small team of Account Executives while closing enterprise deals yourself, spending at least half of your time selling. You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with them to shape how the company wins new clients.
You'll sell to HR, L&D and senior leaders at large organisations, in deals with several stakeholders and a sales cycle of a few months.
What you'll do
- Own your own portfolio of new business opportunities and close enterprise deals
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Executives, joining them in client meetings and helping them win
- Bring structure to the sales process: pipeline management, deal reviews, one-to-ones and accurate forecasting
- Improve win rates, deal sizes and sales cycle length, through clear initiatives based on data
- Strengthen and embed the sales playbook so it becomes part of how the team works every day
- Work closely with Marketing and the SDR team so pipeline building is a shared effort
- Take over part of the client travel, visiting customers regularly across the region
What you bring
- A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, with complex deals involving several stakeholders, and the numbers to back it up
- Experience developing people, whether as a team lead or through mentoring and coaching colleagues
- The motivation to keep selling yourself, not just to manage
- Strong sales craft: modern sales methods, pipeline management and forecasting discipline
- A data-driven mindset: you read the results, decide on the right actions and adjust quickly
- An honest, reflective approach: you can explain both your wins and your misses, and what you learned from them
- Native-level German and excellent English
- Enthusiasm for meeting customers in person
Nice to have
- Experience in enterprise new business sales
- Experience selling to HR, L&D or talent functions
What's on offer
- A competitive package with a strong variable component
- Virtual shares (VSOP), so you share in the success you help build
- Direct work with the CEO and real influence on how the sales team grows
- Personal coaching for your own development
- An annual learning budget and a company pension plan (bAV)
- Flexible working hours
- Regular team events and a modern office in central Berlin
