Role: Public Account Executive

As a Public Account Executive, you will own all aspects of bookings growth in new and existing accounts across the German region, specifically focusing on the Public Sector segment/vertical. We seek a relentless self-starter focused on acquiring new logos by discovering and developing opportunities, managing pipelines, executing account strategies, and encouraging existing customer expansion. The AE must generate daily pipeline activity while collaborating with Sales Engineers, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Channel Partners to surpass sales quotas.

What You'll Do:
  1. Define and implement sales plans for your territory to meet and exceed quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities.
  2. Develop and manage a sales pipeline to facilitate strategic transactions.
  3. Identify and close new growth opportunities with mid-large public accounts.
  4. Present Rubrik solutions within complex data center environments.
  5. Collaborate with partners, distributors, and VARs to enable rapid growth.
  6. Provide feedback on local market opportunities and identify new business and channel partnerships.
Experience Needed:
  1. 5+ years of tech sales experience, ideally in IT Infrastructure or SaaS, selling into mid-large organizations (public sector experience preferred).
  2. Proven track record of landing new logos via self-sourced pipeline activities.
  3. Experience translating IT pain points into business outcomes, selling complex solutions to IT personas.
  4. Familiarity with MEDDPICC sales qualification methodology and building strong champion relationships.
  5. Experience working with channel partners and SDR teams.
  6. Highly goal-oriented with a proactive, 'get it done' attitude.
  7. High integrity, grit, tenacity, and coachability.
