Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate in Medellín, Colombia. You will be responsible for collecting past due invoices, monitoring customer accounts, and collaborating with the Sales and Customer Service teams to minimize credit risk.

In this role, you will contact customers daily by phone or email, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with finance policies. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish proficiency is assumed. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in finance or related field.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or combination with advanced education.
• Preferred experience in accounts receivable.
• Ability to collect past due invoices and monitor accounts in a GBS environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned customer accounts and follow up on past due balances.
• Make daily contact with customers by phone or email to collect amounts.
• Collaborate with offshore BPO team on collections and cash applications.
• Research and resolve queries, disputes and short payments.
• Escalate credit risks to management when needed.
• Ensure adherence to Finance and Compliance policies.
• Complete ad-hoc reports and tasks as assigned.
• Maintain well-documented files and track collection efforts.
