Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is hiring a Trilingual Collections Specialist (Portuguese) to manage past-due invoices and credit risk within a global GBS framework. You will work closely with Customer Service and Sales, handling inquiries, disputes, and timely collections while supporting continuous process improvements.

The role requires strong English, Portuguese, and Spanish language skills, with experience in accounts receivable. Travel is limited and the environment emphasizes collaboration and compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in any finance area.
• 2 Years of relevant work experience or combination of work experience and advanced education.
• Preferred experience in accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned customer accounts and closely follow up on past due amounts.
• Daily contact with customers by phone or e-mail to collect past due amounts.
• Collaborate with offshore BPO Team around collections and cash applications.
• Research and resolve queries, disputes, complaints and short payments promptly.
• Respond timely to all e-mails and inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Coordinate daily with Customer Service and Sales Organization.
• Build good rapport and working relationships with key customers.
• Maintain well-documented customer files and track collection efforts in the collection tool.
• Identify and escalate credit risks and uncollectable accounts to management.
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved to management in a timely manner.
• Analyze accounts daily before releasing orders on hold and monitor credit limits.
