ScotiaTech Bogotá seeks a Business Systems Analyst with Salesforce expertise to help deliver and support critical financial technology services. You will work across IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into system specifications and ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, handle user requests, and participate in project demos, using SQL Server and the Microsoft Office suite to analyze data and drive improvements in end-user experience.

Formación

• Clear understanding of IT practices and systems development techniques (Waterfall, Agile).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience handling customer issues and providing solutions/workarounds.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and ability to run queries.
• 2 years of Salesforce experience.
• Background in Business Systems Analysis.
• University degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• B2 level English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide effective technical support for Salesforce instances.
• Partner with Architecture to understand design and integration.
• Handle user requests and issues daily; propose workarounds.
• Translate business requirements into quality system specifications.
• Participate in walkthroughs and demos across project lifecycle.
• Support change management and system implementation processes.
• Identify scalable solutions to improve end-user experience.
• Review Jira ticketing and ensure tickets are assigned and actioned.

Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of ScotiaTech GTA team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Delivering effective and efficient technical support to a portfolio of Salesforce.com instances
• Partner with Architecture on understanding the design and integration
• Handling user requests and issues on daily basis, provide support, suggest workarounds to end users to carry out their business workflows.
• Able to articulate user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Participating in walkthroughs/demos of applications during various stages of the project or application lifecycle
• Providing solutions and suggestions to the business from a holistic point of view and assist in the defining of detailed requirements.
• Effectively research and analyze business requirements and translate them into quality systems requirement specifications (External Design Documents)
• Actively participating in the systems implementation process and have a thorough understanding of the change management process.
• Improve the end user experience by finding scalable solutions and addressing complex ad hoc queries.
• Review JIRA ticketing intake system and update email notifications (for updates and new tickets) and make sure that new tickets get assigned to a resource and existing ones are actioned on.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education / Experience / Other Information

• Must to have :
  • Has a clear understanding of current IT practices and systems development techniques (Waterfall, Agile, etc).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Project)
  • Experience in handling customer issues, providing solutions/workarounds
  • Working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and able to create and run queries on their own.
  • 2 years of experience with Salesforce
  • Prior experience in Business System Analysis
  • University or college degree in a related discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology) or equivalent work experience.
  • B2 Level of English

Experience in gathering requirement for Salesforce features and functionality, including system integration with Salesforce

Experience in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancement

Ability to understand end-to-end architecture, analyze cross-system dependencies, and effectively bridge communication between business stakeholders, architects, and developers.

Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting data across multiple systems and interfaces.

Working Conditions

• Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence
