Kuehne+Nagel in Bogotá is seeking an Operations Specialist to coordinate and plan customer orders and shipments within the Bogota LCC. You will ensure alignment with the agreed account scope and respond to visibility inquiries, complaints, and ad hoc requests to maintain customer satisfaction and drive productivity.

You should have a university degree in International Business, at least 5 years in Air/Sea/Road transport, and strong English; experience with 4PL and process improvement is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in any of Air, Sea or Road transportation.
• Desirable experience within the 4PL model and Operational Planning and Customer Service background.
• Advanced English skills.
• Ability to support root cause analysis and operational improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and plan the customer orders / shipments according to the agreed account scope.
• Handle inquiries regarding visibility and status of shipments, including complaints and ad hoc requests.
• Ensure acceptable customer satisfaction, business growth, productivity improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Represent KN in meetings and audits, and collaborate with IT, procurement, quality and regional/global LCCs.

The primary purpose of this position (Ops Specialists) is to coordinate and plan the customer orders / shipments accordingly to the agreed upon account scope, in addition, to all the customer inquiries regarding visibility and status of the shipments along with complaints and ad hoc requests. The role ensures the enabling of acceptable customer satisfaction, business growth, productivity improvement and collaboration across the different business involved parties.

How you create impact

• Manage activities related to the Ops Specialist function within the Bogota LCC; Accomplished by direct-line management of Ops Supervisors.
• SOP (Standard Operations Procedure) and WI (Work Instruction) execution, observing and maintaining the customer service and service level agreements for all new and existing clients.
• Represent KN in meetings and conference calls, including service demonstrations during customer visits and internal and/or external audits.
• Manage and solve medium and high business issues with involved parties such as IT, procurement, quality or regional/ global LCCs at management level.
• Quality audits related to general and client-specific quality programs, including GxP.
• Identification of opportunity areas to increase operational productivity, in collaboration with Ops Manager and LPO’s, using advanced analytical tools for Root Cause Analysis and issue discovery
• Understand the current operational landscape within KN IL and utilize lessons-learned to continuously assist in future customer implementations

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelors University degree in International Business or related careers.
• Proven experience of any of the three transportation models (Air, Sea, Road). At least 5 years.
• Desirable Experience within the 4PL model and Operational Planning and Customer Service background.
• English skills advanced.
• Ability to support root cause analysis and operational improvements.
