Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a seasoned CI program leader to deploy and own the continuous improvement service offering for a key customer with global scope. You will drive end-to-end supply chain optimization, transportation strategy, and cost savings across the customer’s end-to-end network.

You will develop business cases, provide strategic updates to the Business Manager, and lead governance meetings, ensuring savings targets are met while tailoring solutions to the customer’s needs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance.
• 5+ years in global logistics and supply chain optimization.
• Experience with air and ocean freight operations, routing, and carrier management.
• Proven cost savings and optimization initiatives in complex, international supply chains.
• Experience in change management and/or project management in a cross-regional or global environment.
• Strong experience in supply chain cost optimization, budgeting, and value stream mapping.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Advanced Excel skills; Tableau or analytics tools are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Identification of customer’s supply chain inefficiencies and optimization opportunities (Sea & Air).
• Driving high-impact business cases focused on cost reduction, routing optimization, and service improvement.
• Monitoring optimization project status, managing escalations, defining priorities, and aligning resources to ensure delivery.
• Eliminating barriers to the implementation of savings and optimization initiatives.
• Developing deep end‑to‑end understanding of customer’s global supply chain network, including suppliers, routes, and modes.
• Value stream mapping and logistics network analysis.
• Alignment on savings targets, timelines, resources and implementation roadmap with customer and Business Manager.
• Alignment on savings calculation methodology, tracking, and reporting with customer / Business Manager.
• Organizing savings tracker and visualization in Tableau dashboard (e.g. customizing IL CI standard templates, Corp CI Tracker).
• Leading regular internal/external governance meetings (e.g. QBR/MBR, CI reviews) with a consultative and advisory approach.

Deploying and leading the CI (Continuous Improvement) service offering and owning the CI program for the customer, with a strong focus on global supply chain optimization, transportation strategy, and cost & cash savings across KNIL customer’s end-to-end supply chain. Leading business case development, providing strategic status updates on CI program to Business Manager / customer, ensuring achievement of savings targets. Driving a structured approach to identification, validation, and implementation of optimization opportunities, leveraging KNIL expertise and advanced knowledge of global logistics and transportation networks, while tailoring solutions to the customer’s specific business needs.

What we would like you to bring

• Proven expertise in multiple transportation modes, with strong focus on air and ocean freight operations, routing, and carrier management
• Demonstrated track record in delivering cost savings and optimization initiatives in complex, international supply chains
• Proven experience in change management and/or project management in a cross-regional or global environment
• Strong experience in supply chain cost optimization, budgeting, and value stream mapping
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Advanced Excel skills (Tableau or analytics tools is a plus)
