Job summary

ScotiaTech, a ScotiaGBS unit in Bogota, Colombia, seeks a strong software engineer with expertise in ETL, data integration, and application development. You will design and support ETL workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices.

The role requires 3+ years with Talend ETL and data integration, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS/GCP), and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Collaborate with global teams across geographies to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL, data integration, system integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting data across multiple systems and interfaces.
• Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies across diverse stacks.
• Experience in Salesforce; Kafka is a plus.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services is an asset.
• Fluent in English (B2) and Spanish, both written and verbal.
