Job summary

ScotiaTech is seeking a Technology Lead in Bogota, Colombia to drive design, development, and delivery of enterprise technology solutions. You will lead ETL work with Talend, ensure data quality, and align architecture with cloud and DevOps standards.

You will mentor teams, resolve complex production issues, and collaborate with distributed groups across geographies to deliver timely, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background and hands-on experience in software development and solution design for enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL, data integration, system integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting data across multiple systems and interfaces.
• Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience in Salesforce, Kafka and Precision lender is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, understanding concepts across diverse technology stacks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services is considered an asset.
• Fluent in English (B2) and Spanish, both written and verbal.
