Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Splunk to support enterprise customers with technical discovery, solution design, and PoC execution. This remote role leverages deep expertise in networking, cybersecurity, and observability to drive strong customer outcomes.

You will collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to demonstrate ROI and architect scalable solutions across complex environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, systems engineering or technical consulting.
• 3+ years translating customer requirements into technical architectures in enterprise IT.
• 2+ years delivering live software demonstrations, PoCs or customer evaluations.
• Experience with enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud infra or observability/data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EE or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design with Account Executives for enterprise accounts.
• Deliver technical presentations, whiteboarding, and product demonstrations showing business ROI.
• Build and run PoCs to validate technical feasibility and accelerate deal closure.
• Collaborate with product specialists, channel partners, and engineering for field feedback.
